Don Willner

Behavioral Financial Advisor

Born and raised in Long Beach, CA, Don Willner was mentored into the financial services industry by his mother, Gerry Willner (an industry leader in her own right and featured in Who's Who in American Women). Don moved to the Bay Area in 1986, where he finished his education at the University of San Francisco. Don specializes in helping individuals and families get their finances in order and prepare for everything from college funding to retirement planning. Don has extensive experience with Retirement Planning, College Funding, Life and Long-Term Care Insurance, as well as Investment Tax Management and Estate Planning Strategies. He also holds a Behavorial Financial Advisor designation.

In his spare time, Don teaches and trains in martial arts and Krav Maga. In 2018 Don won first place in the Black Belt Self Defense Division at the International Martial Arts World Championships in Las Vegas. In 2021 he was awarded his 6th Degree Black Belt. He also facilitates women's self-defense seminars for schools, realtors, religious organizations as well as private groups. 

Working with his wife, Vivian Chu, they also make time to travel the world, visiting such places as the Amazon, Cuba, China, and the Galapagos Islands, just to name a few of the many places they've explored together.
